3 Ways to Keep Your Scalp Clean, Brina Organics

Curly/Kinky hair types are known for the use of protective hairstyling. These hairstyles require maintaining a clean scalp.

1. Gently scrapping the scalp with a fine-tooth comb.
2. Avoiding dairy products which contain cow's milk.
3. Scalp care which require a scalp antiseptic

Some protective hairstyles last for about 1 week or longer, these protective hairstyles are worn to relieve your own hair from stress. Sometimes our own hair needs a break from all the stress we put on it, such as flat ironing, pressing, combing, brushing, washing, and perming.

Wearing protective hairstyles will make your hair stronger and it will grow faster. Protective hairstyles are: braids, two-strand twists outs, locks, kinky twists, braid outs, weave, crochet braids, ponytail buns, etc. These hairstyles will definitely show progress in your hair growth.

Another way to make your hair grow while wearing a protective hairstyle is to clean the scalp with an antiseptic, once every 2 weeks. Cleaning the scalp with an antiseptic will get rid of dandruff. But after cleaning the scalp with an antiseptic such as rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball, then the next day add a small amount of 'oil sheen spray' to your hair and scalp. This is common for curly and kinky hair by keeping the hair moisturized to prevent dry brittle hair.

Using a scalp antiseptic will prevent the scalp pores from being clogged with dandruff. This is why it is necessary to keep the scalp clean with an antiseptic once every week, which helps with maintaining unclogged scalp pores. Scalp antiseptics can be used on a cotton ball to wipe the scalp by sections, especially when wearing weaves and other protective hairstyles.

A scalp antiseptic is a highly effective treatment that destroys the growth of bacteria, on the scalp. It removes dirt, dandruff, and odor-causing bacteria from the scalp.

Scalp antiseptics should include natural ingredients such as water, essential oils, herbal extracts, plant extracts, seed extracts, and fruit extracts.

Some of the antiseptics used for skin can be used for scalp pores as well. Using scalp antiseptics will also help your scalp not form mildew due to wearing hair weaves and protective styles; an antiseptic will prevent scalp fungus. Some women get scalp mildew from frequently wearing hair weaves in hot summer weather, and commonly wearing headscarves at night. This is why applying a scalp-antiseptic to the scalp once every week is important in preventing mildew buildup and a smelly scalp.

When the Citrus Green Tea Scalp Antiseptic, you spray it on your scalp with a spray bottle this prevent scalp mildew and fungus. With the antiseptics you may use it once a day. If you wear protective styles you may also want to spray your scalp before going to bed a night, this promotes hair growth and moisture.

Thank you, peace
